Lincoln Avenue northbound will remain closed until the spring of 2026, and Lincoln Drive traffic will remain detoured on the same detour route. Expect delays and please use caution driving through the area.
These restrictions are part of the $97.6 million Interstate 80 Exit 308 Realignment Project that began in March 2022 and is anticipated to be complete in July 2027.
The project includes:
• Replacement of the I-80 mainline bridge over Lincoln Avenue and the former DL&W Railroad.
• Reconstruction of the interchange ramps to provide increased acceleration and deceleration lane lengths.
• Replacement of the Prospect Street Bridge to meet current vertical clearance standards over I-80.
• Several retaining walls along I-80.
The project adds:
• Roundabouts at ramp termini.
• A new signal at the new T-intersection of Prospect Street and Forge Road/Greentree Drive.
• Signal improvements at Prospect Street and East Brown Street intersection.
In addition, new signing, pavement markings, guide rail, and drainage will be provided.
