The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture has recommended that consumers dispose of Meadow View Jerseys brand raw milk purchased between August 5 and 12 due to confirmed contamination with Shigatoxin-producing E. coli bacteria.
The affected milk was packaged in plastic gallon, plastic and glass half-gallon, plastic quart, and plastic pint containers with a sell-by date of August 19.

Individuals at higher risk include children under 5, adults over 65, and those with weakened immune systems.
