Pennsylvania Game Commission surprises boy whose dream is to become a game warden

Recently, the Pennsylvania Game Commission- Northeast Region office received a letter from a Luzerne County resident. The letter was from a 9-year-old boy by the name of Noah. Noah wrote to the Game Commission about how his dream was to someday become a state game warden and how much he loves animals.

Noah kindly requested someone provide him with any information about animals, more specifically, Pennsylvania wildlife. But, State Game Warden Andrew Macko and Deputy Game Warden Mike Peaver decided to do something even better for Noah.

They made a surprise visit to Noah's home after some prior planning with his parent.s

Noah and his family were able to see firsthand what a game warden career is like.

He was able to see what equipment the wardens use. Noah’s favorite part was using the game warden’s lights and sirens!

Before leaving, Warden Macko and Deputy Warden Peaver gave Noah a backpack full of information about Pennsylvania wildlife, game warden patches, stickers, and hats.

Noah is now more determined than ever to one day become a Pennsylvania Game Warden!

Thank you State Game Warden Andrew Macko and Deputy Game Warden Mike Peaver for making this such a special learning experience for Noah.
