SLATINGTON, Pa. - The Pennsylvania State Police are currently conducting an active investigation in Slatington Borough, according to Trooper Nathan Branosky of the Pennsylvania State Police.
This is at least the third day of the investigation, according to a WFMZ news report.
Investigators were focused Thursday on the D&L Trail in Slatington, where part of the trail was closed for a few hours in the morning, according to WFMZ. They reported that dozens of law enforcement officers were seen walking on the trail.
Police were also at a home a few blocks away on West Franklin Street in Slatington on Wednesday, according to the news report.
Branosky said, "No further details are available at this time."
Branosky also stated that, as reported by WFMZ, there is no danger to the public.
