Pennsylvania State Police to increase patrols during 45th annual Wheels of Time Rod and Custom Jamboree

MACUNGIE, Pa. - Members of the Pennsylvania State Police and Emmaus Borough Police Department announced that they would be increasing patrols during the 45th annual Wheels of Time Rod and Custom Jamboree from Aug. 23-25 in Macungie Memorial Park.

The event will host an "Evening Cruise" on Friday, Aug. 23.

Numerous vehicles involved in the cruise will travel through Lower Macungie Township and Upper Milford Township, which may cause traffic delays.

From 5:30 to 10 p.m., troopers will close Buckeye Road between Route 29 (Chestnut Street) and Tank Firm Road, Upper Milford Township.

Troopers will be monitoring the area for any motorists who operate their vehicles in "a manner which is dangerous to the public," according to a press release from the police department.
