The Eagles will visit the White House on Monday, April 28, 2025, to celebrate their Super Bowl LIX victory.
The Philadelphia Eagles “enthusiastically accepted” the invitation to the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl win.
“April 28, I can confirm that the Philadelphia Eagles will be here at the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl victory,” Karoline Leavitt said to reporters during a briefing. “I know there was a lot of fake news about an invitation that wasn’t sent or was sent. We want to correct the record. We sent an invitation, they enthusiastically accepted, and you will see them here on April 28.”
The last time the Eagles won the Super Bowl, following the 2017 season, they did not visit the White House. Although they received an invitation from Trump during his first term, that invitation was later rescinded. The then-White House press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, described the team's decision not to attend as a “political stunt.”

The initial trip was planned for June 2018, but the Eagles chose to schedule an OTA practice to occupy their free day instead.
This year, April 28 falls on the Monday after the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Draft and well before the start of spring practices.

As far as the exact schedule, it is expected to take place in the late afternoon.

The Eagles beat the Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9 in New Orleans. It is their second Super Bowl victory.
