Police investigate non-specific threatening message discovered inside Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts

BETHLEHEM, Pa - Wednesday morning just after 11 am, the Bethlehem Police Department was contacted by school administration at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts (321 E. 3rd St.) regarding a non-specific threatening message that was discovered inside the building.
As a result of this threat, school administration initiated safety protocols, including restricted movement inside the building, while the threat was investigated by police.

Although the investigation is ongoing, there is no immediate danger to students, staff, and other occupants of the building, according to police.
School administration intends to continue the school day, and will dismiss normally at the end of the day.
Police will provide additional presence in and around the building as an added security measure.
