ALLENTOWN, PA -
On Thursday, October 19, 2023, at approximately 11:30 a.m., members of the Allentown Police Department responded to the Congregation Kenneth Israel located at 2227 Chew Street in Allentown, for a reported bomb threat, according to a press release.
With the assistance of the Allentown Fire Department, it was determined to be unfounded, according to the police.
The investigation is active and ongoing between the Allentown Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
