EASTON, Pa. - A man was shot in Easton early Tuesday evening, according to the Easton Police Department.
Officials responded to a report of a person who was shot in the area of the 1300 block of Liberty Street just before 6:30 p.m.
A 44-year-old man was discovered at the scene with an apparent gunshot wound to the chest, according to police.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.
Police identified the location of the shooting as the 1300 block of Church Street.
The incident is currently under investigation.
Police are looking for a U-Haul moving van that fled the scene after the shooting.
