PPL Electric Utilities builds platform to relocate osprey pair's nest

The ospreys have returned to their (new) home!

In February, the team at PPL Electric Utilities constructed a platform to move an osprey pair’s nest, which was originally on top of one of their transmission lines, according to an announcement made on their Facebook page.

After migrating south for the winter, the ospreys noticed their nest's new location and returned home.

They’re enjoying the new platform, are mating, and will lay eggs in the coming months.
