Route 422 eastbound is now reopened in West Reading following a police incident, according to Fire Alerts of Berks County.
According to earlier reports, an individual was struck by several vehicles in the eastbound lanes of Route 422.
Route 422 Eastbound was shut down between Route 222 Southbound and the Penn Avenue exit due to the earlier incident in West Reading Boro, according to Fire Alerts of Berks County. Ramps from Route 12 and N. Wyomissing Blvd to Route 422 EB were also closed.
