Severe thunderstorm watch in effect, damaging winds and flooding possible

According to the National Weather Service, a severe thunderstorm watch is in effect until 9 pm this evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and early evening with locally damaging winds possible.


Heavy downpours may lead to some areas of flash flooding within the watch area, according to the weather service.


If you are out at Musikfest or attending any outdoor events, please remain alert for changing weather conditions today.
