'Shave for the Brave' to be held at Emmaus High School today to raise money for Pediatric Cancer

EMMAUS, Pa - Today, many brave souls are getting their heads shaved at Emmaus High School to raise money for pediatric cancer.

Shave for the brave is a head-shaving event through The St. Baldrick's Foundation.

So far, $60,000 has been raised.

This year 100 men, women, and children are shaving their heads in addition to many volunteers.

They will have honorees, and over 50 amazing raffle baskets (including a Phantoms Box for graduation, an EHS quilt, Macungie and Lower Macungie Pool Passes, Dorney Park, Iron Pigs, Phantoms, and gift card baskets).

The event takes place from 5 - 8 pm in the high school gym.

This is a cash-only event so come hungry and ready to see some brave humans get their head shaved!

A newly established non-profit is also helping families that have children with pediatric cancer. They are also hosting a very special event for free for everyone coming soon!

Emmaus High School is located at 500 Macungie Avenue, Emmaus, PA
