ALLENTOWN, Pa. - A shelter-in-place was lifted Friday evening after Lehigh County dispatchers reported shots were fired in the area of J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown.
According to Allentown Police, two groups of young people were involved in the incident, and residents in neighborhoods around J. Birney Crum and Muhlenberg College were advised to shelter in place.
Two shell casings were reportedly found at the scene, but WFMZ was told that the Allentown Police Chief is unlikely to respond to their request for comment until Monday.
Allentown Police are investigating.
