State Police arrest Palmerton man after road rage incident

LYNN TWP., Pa - The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop M – Fogelsville

Criminal Investigation Unit arrested a man in connection with a road rage incident that took place on November 11, 2024, in Lynn Township, Lehigh County.



On Monday, November 11, 2024, at around 10:20 pm, Troopers responded to a report

of a vehicle being shot at while traveling southbound on the 5600 block of Schochary Road, Lynn Township.



Upon investigation, it was determined the actor fired two rounds, from his SUV, later

determined to be a .380 handgun, at the victim’s vehicle, with one round striking the bed of the

victim’s pickup truck.


On Wednesday, January 22, 2025, Troopers arrested John C. Miles, of Palmerton, Carbon

County in relation to this incident.


Miles faces 2 felony counts and 3 misdemeanors, according to the documents.


According to police, Miles was criminally charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, simple assault, terroristic threats, and recklessly endangering another person.


There were no reported injuries in this incident. Bail for Miles was set at $150,000.00.
