Stretch of I-81 in Cumberland County shut down due to overturned tractor-trailer carrying alcohol

MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A stretch of Interstate 81 is shut down in Cumberland County due to an overturned tractor-trailer blocking the road.
PennDOT said southbound traffic is being diverted at Exit 57 (PA 114 - Mechanicsburg) and then back on at Exit 52 (U.S. 11 to I-76 Turnpike).
The truck was carrying about 43,000 pounds of various kinds of alcohol. according to the Pennsylvania State Police.
No injuries are reported.
