LEHIGHTON, Pa - The Lehighton Downtown Initiative will be hosting the 2nd Annual Hometown Vintage Christmas! Be a part of this fun, festive event right before the holidays.
Today from noon - 6:00 pm, South 1st Street in Lehighton will turn into a magical holiday event.
With over 70 vendors, the Lehighton Downtown businesses, live music, food, activities, 174 Christmas Trees in the park, horse and wagon rides and more it will be a delightful day of Christmas shopping and enjoying the ambiance of a small town at the holidays.
Bring the children dressed in their best Christmas outfits as Snow Maidens and Little Lords of the Forest as they open Hometown Vintage Christmas with a march down the street including Father Christmas and his drummer.
Meet at the fountain in the park by 11:45 am.
When the parade is finished the children can meet with Father Christmas inside Wine & More and let him know all of the presents they would like to see under their tree on Christmas morning.
This is a great photo opportunity!
After the children have finished telling Father Christmas their Christmas wishes, they can participate in games and crafts. There will be a life-sized Gingerbread House, courtesy of Robbie’s Balloons and More, where you can take some great family photos.
Don't forget to get a ticket for the Horse and Wagon rides, taking place from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Your ticket will have a return time, so you can enjoy shopping, eating and other activities until it's your turn for the magical Horse and Wagon ride.
All of the activities organized by Lehighton Downtown Initiative for Hometown Vintage Christmas are free of charge. Live music will be playing all day long, featuring Autumn Falls Entertainment, Sienna McGeehan and Eric Stimmler.
