The Lehigh Valley could see its first snow of the season with the arrival of cold air

The cold air has arrived and some flakes of snow may soon follow in some areas, according to the National Weather Service!

Expect it to be blustery today with highs mostly in the 30s but winds gusting 25 to 35 mph making it feel a good 10-15 degrees colder.

Lake effect flurries and snow showers have been ongoing across portions of central and western PA. Some of these will likely make it into Eastern PA today, according to the National Weather Service.

It’s even possible some of these could briefly be on the heavier side especially across portions of Chester County north through the Lehigh Valley into the southern Poconos, they said.

Be alert for rapidly changing visibility and slippery roads!
