The first winter storm of the season brought just about as much snow to the Lehigh Valley as the entire previous winter season.
According to the National Weather Service, some parts of the Lehigh Valley saw around 8 inches of snow, while others saw about 4 inches.
Areas closer to Monroe and Carbon counties saw more snow than the more southern parts of the Lehigh Valley.
Jim Thorpe had the highest snowfall reported with 11.1 inches.
Numerous accidents were being reported throughout the Lehigh Valley and PennDOT had various road and speed restrictions in place.
Sunday people were still shoveling out from the storm.

Lehigh Valley International Airport recorded 5.3 inches of snow by Sunday morning.
Lehigh and Northampton counties both received 9.5 inches of snow - in Germansville and Upper Mount Bethel Township, respectively, according to the NWS.
In the evening hours, snow fell at an increasing rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour at some locations making for hazardous travel. People remarked how large the snowflakes were.
Late in the evening, it changed over to rain.
