The Wicked Chef is back and features sandwiches made fresh to order

SOUTH WHITEHALL TWP., Pa - A few weeks ago, I stopped in and spoke to the owners of The Wicked Chef in South Whitehall Township.

The Wicked Chef welcomed customers back this past July after being closed for nearly four years due to the COVID-19 pandemic

Owners, Georgiann and John Moniak, started their restaurant in South Whitehall Township in October 2019, shortly before the onset of the pandemic, and made the decision to reopen their establishment this summer. Thankfully, their old restaurant was available and they were able to move back in.

The Wicked Chef

John attended Johnson and Wales University and spends most of his time in the kitchen preparing each sandwich fresh to order.

The sandwiches are filled with a variety of house-smoked meats and tasty sides.

Polish potato pancakes

They also have their own Polish potato pancakes. They come with sour cream and homemade applesauce  They are delicious! I've tried them myself.

Their bread is freshly delivered daily from Rockland Bakery in Nanuet, New York to guarantee only the highest quality.
