Troopers Seize Over $36 Million in Marijuana, THC, and Psilocybin Products During Traffic Stop in New Jersey

GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, NJ - The New Jersey State Police have arrested Fnu Attiq Ur-Rahman, 22, and Haffez Rehman Ur, 35, both from Stockton, CA, after troopers seized more than $36,000,000 worth of marijuana, cannabis/THC products, and psilocybin products during a motor vehicle stop in Warren County, according to a press release.


On Tuesday, February 18, the Mobile Safe Freight Unit conducted a commercial vehicle inspection on I-78 East at milepost 6.3 in Greenwich Township, Warren County, on a tractor-trailer operated by Attiq Ur-Rahman. During the inspection, it was determined that the tractor-trailer was transporting marijuana.



Police say a subsequent search of the trailer led to the seizure of approximately 8,042.2 pounds of raw hydroponic marijuana, 12,062 pounds of various cannabis/THC products, and 13.4 pounds of psilocybin products.


The total weight of the seized contraband was 20,117.6 pounds, according to the press release.
