ALLENTOWN, Pa - Two men have been charged in connection with a deadly shooting in Allentown's Fountain Park.
Grelvis Estevez Cabrera, age 27, of Bethlehem, and Carlos Landesta-Agramonte, age 18, of Allentown, are both facing charges of conspiracy to commit criminal homicide, a felony of the first degree; and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a misdemeanor of the second degree, the Lehigh County district attorney announced Thursday
Allentown Police were summoned to a shooting at Fountain Park, located at 924 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, around 6:30 p.m. on June 1.
Officers found Angel Martinez-Velez, 25, deceased on the basketball court, according to police.

Martinez-Velez, of Allentown, died from multiple gunshot wounds, and his death was ruled a homicide by the Lehigh County Coroner.
Witnesses described two vehicles involved in the shooting as a dark-colored Honda and a white car. Those witnesses also described the man who did the shooting as wearing a red jacket, black pants, and a mask.
Immediately after the shooting and 911 calls, Allentown city cameras recorded two vehicles matching that description fleeing Fountain Park appearing to travel together.
Allentown Police personnel tracked the two vehicles through the city on the camera system and concluded they were traveling together at a high rate of speed.
By reviewing numerous city cameras, investigators were able to identify the license plate of the dark-colored Honda and observed a front-seat passenger wearing a red jacket.
Investigators were also able to determine that the second car was a white Infinity registered to Carlos Landesta-Agramonte at 417.5 E. Court St., Allentown.
Investigators arrived at the East Court Street home less than two hours after the shooting and observed both vehicles located nearby. Those vehicles were seized pursuant to a search warrant, according to the news release.
Subsequent investigation resulted in the recovery of additional surveillance camera videos and information from license plate readers from various locations within the City of Allentown.
Police say that through a review of video surveillance, license plate readers, significant input from witnesses and social media participation from the community; all of these together allowed the investigation to move quickly.
On June 5, both Landesta-Agramonte and Esteves Cabrera arrived at the Allentown Police Department Criminal Investigations Division and were taken into custody on the charges.
Both were arraigned last night by District Judge David M. Howells Jr. and are in Lehigh County Jail without bail, according to police.
Preliminary hearings for both Esteves Cabrera and Landesta-Agramonte are scheduled for 1:45 p.m. June 11.
The investigation remains ongoing and Allentown Police continue to ask the community for information and assistance to help identify and find others who may also be involved in the killing.
These arrests are the cumulation of dedicated law enforcement officers and city officials as well as those in the community who have provided critical tips to help solve this homicide.
The investigation included the Allentown Police Department, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, the Lehigh County Homicide Task Force, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office as well as the Regional Intelligence and Investigation Center.
The investigation benefitted from the technology available within the City of Allentown, including a network of city cameras and license plate readers.
The charges were filed by lead investigators Allentown Police Detective Theodore Kiskeravage and Lehigh County Homicide Task Force Detective Moses Miller.
The case will be prosecuted by Chief of Prosecutions Patricia Fuentes Mulqueen and Senior Deputy District Attorney Ramma R. Mineo.
As in every criminal case, the fact that arrests have occurred or complaints have been filed are merely accusations; and the defendants, Grelvis Estevez Cabrera and Carlos Nathaniel Landesta-Agramonte, are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
