The first winter storm of the season is likely to affect the region this weekend.
You might wonder how much snow we will be getting here in the Lehigh Valley.
Chief meteorologist, Bobby Martrich of Eastern PA Weather Consulting outlines the full forecast along with impacts and timing for you.
According to Martrich, a low pressure will move from the Lower Mississippi Valley region Friday night northeastward to Delmarva Saturday evening.
Precipitation associated with this low will overspread the region from SW to NE from late morning in far southwestern areas to mid to late afternoon farther east and northeast. In the interior, mostly NW of I-95, precipitation will begin as snow.
